If a website falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Even the most beautiful website is worthless if no one can find it. We have devoted time, money and thinking to the art of website optimisation for search engines. We specialise in organic listings.
Printspace Art Prints
Inspired by the commercial artists of the mid twentieth century including; Eric Carle, Saul Bass, Paul and Anne Rand, Charlie Harper and more.
Mara Girling and Nicholas Girling have personally created a collection of art which have been developed to satisfy our own spontaneous creative urges.
The result is Printspace. Printspace is a fast growing wholesale art business with stockists in Australia, New Zealand and in the States. Printspace is a great pure snapshot of the 'Girling Style'.

PLP Corporate Brochure
When you begin with great imagery, it's difficult to put a foot wrong. But one of the elements that I felt very strongly about with this project was to present the key partners in this business as a force to be reckoned with. You can see the photos of the staff members all sitting at a table - all appear to be offering something different to the management team. They each sit evenly spaced. I really like this shot. Each pose is very iconic in nature and we can get a great look at their unique personalities.

often there are brochures which don't require much in the way of text at all.

Caroline Serviced Apartments Brighton & South Yarra
This is a traditional 6pp DL size brochure - the style is 'roll fold'. These were produced for Caroline Serviced Apartments. The project involved creative direction, project management of our interior stylist, photographer and printer. Girling Design organised the printing and delivery with our quality suppliers. The result is clean, crisp and simple. The focus is on the photography and the map.

The Caroline Brand was built from scratch. The typography is understated and the leaves act as both symbol and as support graphics

Stockdale Printstaff
The idea of a brochure felt very alien to our client. He had always felt that simply dealing face to face was the best way to go. We actually don't disagree. So we developed a strategy to produce a document that purely supported the brand image and also assisted the face to face meeting with an explanatory diagram. Sometimes business offerings can be challenging to explain verbally - This document has had great results in simplifying the clients complex concepts.

The business structure and offering has been symbolised in an explanatory diagram to help facilitate face-to-face meetings

Concierge Magazine press kit brochure
A brochure designed to promote the magazine and to provide advertising specifications to design studios and advertising agencies. Girling Design produced thirteen sixty four page magazines. This press kit document was printed full colour with bold colours and iconic typography.

The above brochure was printed onto uncoated paper.
It successfully communicated technical and sales specifications

Rail Re-Zolve
A tender document. We produced only eight of these documents printed digitally. It was twelve pages and saddle stitched for binding. The client wanted to present themselves as being very organised and committed to the deliverables. The layout is simple and clean. Images are presented as organised elements to support the approach.
